MACHIKO NOGUCHI is a Japanese warrior who was made a blooded hunter by a Predator clan leader; the only human to ever wear the mark. Although she was very petit compared to the 7-foot tall Predators, she still proved herself time and time again in combat against bigger and more dangerous prey. This display of ferocity eventually earned her the name "Little Knife" in the Predator tounge. Machiko lived for the ecstacy of battle and hunted with the Predators for over a year, but in her heart she knew that they would never consider her as an equal. At best, she was merely "tolerated" by the Predators and lived aboard their ships; the mark on her brow granting her the right of passage. Even though she was an independenat loner (even among her own people), she still missed the company of others. Eventually she had to choose between hunting with the Predators or protecting the fellow humans who crossed their paths. Eventually, she chose the latter and abandoned the Predator clan.
