Доброго времени суток. Сегодня я расскажу про малоизвестные записи с участием Ронни Джеймса Дио.Между альбомами Dio at Domino и Elf, первый коллектив Ронни менял составы и названия, в то время когда группа звалась The Electric Elves и Elves (1967-1970) они выпустили несколько песен.

Позже, после ухода из Black Sabbath Ронни поучаствовал в записи альбома австралийской группы Heaven.


Ну, а так же в 1984 году Ронни создал известный благотворительный проект Hear 'n Aid, в котором так же поучаствовали музыканты из Quiet Riot, Blue Öyster Cult, Judas Priest, Queensrÿche, Dokken и другие.


В 1996 году рэпкор группа Dog Eat Dog одной из своих записей спели, что хотят записать песню вместе с Ронни Джеймсом Дио, в итоге они это сделали.

С 1999 по 2001 годы Ронни катался в совместном турне с Deep Purple и оркестром где исполнял как и свои песни, так и песни с сольника Гловера, а так же совместно с Гилланом исполняли Smoke on the Water.


В 2005 Дио учавствует в записи сольного альбома гитариста Twisted Sisters Эдди Охеда.

Story of nothing.

… A very wide and huge field, it’s so big that you can see more than two kilometers away, and I’m standing on the middle of this land. Suddenly, realize that I am the best live target for a sniper, so I start to pray that no one is around. Walk through high grass and little bushes, the camping bag is heavy for me because of food cans, water bottles and other stuff. Weather today is finally good: just a few clouds above me. I stop next to big green bush to check the map: so NE we have a forest and NW is the hunting view point which is around 320m away. Slowly but then quicker I start to move this “hunting nest” and then: a loud shoot from somewhere! I immediately fall to the ground, right under a bush. Silence. Just heavy silence. I’m fine become this shot wasn’t for me, but for who? And who shot?! The only thing I understand it is can be is a “hunter”, using a 7.62 caliber bullet for a sniper rifle and that it’s means then if I start moving, he will shot me, … or not , but still better to wait here until he goes away. How will I know if he’s gone or not… or, just wait.

Fat and fluffy clouds moved slowly like they have been filled with heavy stuff. Some of them start to combine with each other and change from milky white to dark grey. Nature asks for water to remove dust from a trees leaves and to prime the earth. Parasite whose name is “human” are nearly gone, but they do everything they can to avoid extinction. Nature is finally become fully free, it conquer land which been taken from “here”. Wild animals become really wild because there are no more cages, no more barriers, no more a monkey with broomstick (or boom-stick) on top of the food pyramid. “Concrete jungles” become to ruins.

I have been laid down under this bush for one hour but all around is quiet as in hearse, even the crows are abnormally silent today … ok, now or never! I slowly crawl toward the forest, with 20 seconds stops to listen for anything around is moving. The first hundred meters were ok but then I noticed the cracking of grass, and I stopped. The noise becomes louder with every second and it means somebody moving forward me. “What am I going to do?” I whispered, all I have is a G17 (hand gun) with two magazines. The noise increases itself with every second, I put the gun in front of me and pray, “please, it’s not a human, not a human…” and … a rabbit pops out in front of my face. We both had a heart attack. Then the little “monster” sprints away, and I lie still on the ground for few seconds. It takes half an hour to get to the bottom of the forest. I crass to the nearest conifer and lie on the bag under it. Two hours stolen from me just because a lonely haunter didn’t notice me when shooting his game, ok let’s check the map, compass and quick calculation of distance which I have crawled shows me that I still have 45 kilometers to the nearest town; I start right away. I need to reach the town before night.

The forest, a kingdom of furry tails. From century to century, people tell each other stories about this magnificent place, some of those stories present a forest as elfin lands: the place where magic is floating in the air; the place where the wizards live; the place of fairytales (fairyism), but others stories represent the forest as a place of horror, terror and fear, where demonic hands try to reach you, goblins hide under every cobble and the showdown –figure of a slendeman walks between the trees.

3. An Evil Shade Of Pink

In a cold naked cell
A lunatic stares at the empty walls
With a blank expression on his face
But with a smile on his rugged lips

His mind travels beyond this world
To a place created by his funny brain
There are trees in different values
In all the colors of the rainbow

Just like a stoned junkies dream
Where the grass is blue and the sky is green
With yellow elephants flying in the sky
Like when you smokepot and get really high
So many colorshat you almost go blind
All this created by a lunatics bizzare mind

Transformed to an image made of dreams
The lunatic ruins naked through the wilderness
With strange flowers springing in his footsteps
Followed by an evil shade of pink
Knowing not that it is his last day in life

4. Night Of The Penguins

Sunset in Gotham city
The sky is red as blood
A dark gloom reigns the town
As if it knows what awaits

Late at night
A horde of creatures sneaks into town
Armed with razorsharp beaks
Certain that no one will get in their way

Sensing death in the air
Nobody even dares to go out
Soon the penguins will find Batman's cave
Proceeding with their cunning plan

After emptying the batmobiles tyres
They sneak back into the woods
Leaving no trace to be found
But a stench of death and decay

5. Behind Mountains Of Ice

Behind mountains of ice
They are preparing for attack
When you least expect it
They will sneak up behind your back

They rule this place alone
Nobody is even there
Of satans evil penguins
You must beware

6. The Return Of The Undead Smurfs (Gargamels Revenge II)

Out of the ashes
Of the destroying (smurf) village
One survivor rose
That day he swore not to rest
Until Gargamel was dead

While walking through the woods
A shadow emerged from behind the trees
Together they returned to the ruins of the village

The village was desolated
Smashed to pieces and burned down
The limbs of the poor smurfs
Scattered all over the ground
But their flesh was still warm

Together they decided to perform
The ancient smurf ritual of necromancy
In order to invoke the fallen ones
To create the army of undead smurfs

Under the sign of the blue mark
They marched towards Gargamels castle
The old sorcerer did not know
What horrible evil would strike upon him

He was paralyzed by the horrifying sight
When he saw the hideous army
Bursting out from the midnight fog
Crawling and trembling towards his home
He tried to escape, but they ate his toes
(took a bite of his ass, played golf with his balls)
And feasted upon the rest of his dismembered body

When it was down, they marched on
To spread terror all over the world
The superior race of rotten flesh
Blue and white with blood on their hats

7. Mutant Ninja Penguins (From Hell)

Trained by the ultimate masters
Possessing all the skills
Nuclear radiation from hell
Turned them into savage beasts

Beaks of the sharpest steel
Chainsaw blades instead of wings
Fear their tremendous rage

In the night they are running amok
Staining their steel with blood
Using the ancient arts
And melting humans with nuclear farts

There is no point praying to god
Because he is already dead
Buried deep in penguin shit
Slowly turning to dust

8. Emigrantvisan

Vi sålde våra hemman och gav oss sedan ut,
som fågelen bortflyger, när sommaren tar slut.
Han kommer en gång åter när våren skrider fram,
men vi få aldrig skåda vårt kära fosterland.

Och när vi kommo till den liverpoolska hamn
begynte ångerns tårar så stritt att bryta fram.
Det blev en hjärtans sveda i bröstet på var och en.
Man talar blott om Sverige och om sitt förra hem.

Vi packades tillsammans uti ett osunt kvav.
Det var för oss att skåda liksom en öppen grav.
Och födan som vi fraktat ifrån vår svenska jord
den blev oss nu förbjuden att taga med ombord.

Och när vi hade seglat en vecka eller två,
ett mörker däcket höljde och bredde sig därpå.
Ej se varann vi kunde, knappt andas eller gå.
Det var en gruvlig plåga för stora och för små.

Nu blir en ömklig hunger, med sorg och grät och gny.
En jämmer som sig tränger till himlens höga sky.
Och döden gruvligt härjar bland mänskorna ombord.
Man ser de döda kastas i havets vilda flod.

Det är det som grämer mitt hjärta till min död.
Att se de arma barnen här gråta efter bröd.
Vi kunde ej dem hjälpa, ej lindra deras snöp.
De måste nu få gråta och sedan därpå dö.
