Physical i i—i r~i Magical Potency i i i i........~i Slrnter Crab Observation Records Slayer Crabs are evolved versions of Crabbostabbos that have earned themselves a name. Upon receiving a name, their combat intelligence and size begin to grow, and they start learning the art of the blade just like any other swordsman. Their size and strength are completely dependent on the number of foes they have slain. Slayer Crabs are capable of utilizing a variety of weapons; they have developed martial skills similar to those of a human swordsman. Adult Slayer Slayer Crabs are known to challenge knights in honorable combat; they will never ambush a knight. Instead, the Slayer will make its presence known before flourishing its blade. Once it defeats a knight, it will then take the knight’s armor for itself, merging the plate armor with its exoskeleton, growing stronger in the process. It is known that some armor is more valued to the Slayer than others, usually based on how glorious the battle was. Due to their size, strength and martial skill, Slayer Crabs are designated with ^ menace marks but could easily gain more depending on the specimen. Combat guide Slayerite The Slayer’s chitin, the knight’s armor, and the weapons merge together in a natural process, producing a uniquely sturdy chitin that can be manipulated just like any other metal. Slayerite is equivalent to adamantite in terms of protective capabilities but is much easier to manipulate and shape into weapons, making it a highly coveted but very rare metal. Because a Slayer Crab does not make an attempt to hide themselves, their territories are quite obvious and should be public knowledge, the best thing to do first is to identify their locations. If one ansolutely must, one could make plans to ambush these magnificent creatures, luring them into traps of your own making. No magical potential, however they are quite resistant to magic, many of them have absorbed anti magic armor Martial Prowess r..i.■— Despite differences in body shape, there is no doubt that these crabs are extremely skilled in their own martial art, able to match any knight in skill alone It is not possible to raise a slayer crab, it is a result of naming a particularly mighty crabbostabbo and having it evolve in a strange way afterwards. It is possible to befriend one however, by impressing it in combat The dense layer of chitin and metal would prove difficult to pierce and the fact that Slayer Crabs move much more swiftly than their size suggests makes them frightening to face against. If one manage to find a way to flip the slayer crab either through traps or clever maneuvering, it would not be able to stand back up, thus exposing it’s softer stomach. Though resistant to most magics, they are vulnerable to electricity based attacks, having a mage with the ability to call lightning could prove extremely useful as they are able to deal massive damage to the slayer crabs. Due to the creature’s sense of honor, if one appears before it without armor or weapons they would not perceive you as a threat and leave you alone. If you must, you can use this chance to use a concealed weapon such as a claypot bomb to deal extreme damage.
Olulrillû Observation Records Owlrillas are strange avian (?) creature that seem to have a limited capability of flight even if they have hulking mass for a body. They could easily climb trees and glide down to ambush their prey, pummeling them into smithereens before consuming the tenderized carcass. They are strangely stealthy, as their feathers act as sound supressors as well. Due to their strength and deceptively stealthy capabilities, The Crown has given them 3 menace marks, not to be tackled by a fledgling knight Physically imposing, the Owlrilla could easily tear a man in two and pummel him into a paste! Combat guide Magical Potency 1 1 1 1 Owlrillas tend to have rotund body shapes that is commonly seen with powerlifters. There are layers of fat and muscle hidden underneath their very soft feathers. Owlrilla Eye Owlrilla’s eye are precious alchemical reagents, they are known for their nightvision granting properties. An Owlrilla Eye potion could grant someone with far better sight for at least 12 hours making it invaluable for those working in the darkness. An exceptional Alchemist could even make a potion that cures blindness with the right formulae and techniques, though of course it’s effects are also temporary. Adult Owlrilla Owlrillas are usually solitary creatures and they are incredibly territorial, an experienced outdoorsman could see claw marks upon trees and hooting from a distance in order to identify an Owlrilla territory. They are incredibly aggresive to intruders, especially if they are rearing their young, it does not help that Owlrillas are strictly carnivorous as well, they are known to prefer the flesh of beastfolk however for some unknown reason. Physical I... 3 The thing one must do is to identify an Owlrilla’s territory, one should mask their scent as much as possible and confuse their senses. Owlrillas are particularly sensitive to light, a strong and sudden source of light such as flash bombs would temporarily stun and blind the owlrilla, allowing a few good hits in. Owlrillas do not have any magical potential, this does not diminish their strength whatsoever and they remain a dangerous threat Value Owlrillas keep the ecosystem in check, they also hunt and kill unfamiliars within their territories, some settlements even manage to tame them into mounts that can defend themselves. Owlrilla are capable of learning to use simple tools such as shovels, pickaxes or pulley systems, some people try to tame them to use as soldiers or even ballista loaders during wartime. Taming an Owlrilla requires one to raise it from an egg, letting one imprint on you and acknowledging you as it’s mother. They can be taught sign language as well and could communicate that way with humans. The dense layer of fat and muscle would be difficult for ordinary blades to penetrate, but the feathers would make blunt weapons ineffective against the Owlrilla. Loud sounds disorient the Owlrilla as well and mess with their sense of equillibrium, surrounding the Owlrilla with shieldmen and continously banging their shields would cause massive confusion to the beast.
