GEMOLOGY - a Skullgirls Encore CMV - feat Sherlock Holmes,Gaming,sg,skullgirls,encore,combo,CMV,cerebella,diamond,deflector,squigly,gemology,Aaaah, gemology... 9 months after I got the idea, it was time for this baby to come to life. First part is not possible in current version of the game, it was a thing in an older version on beta. 2nd part is doable in current version of retail Skullgirls Encore. All combos are fully legit, it is not possible to shake out of any of these staggers. More personal explanations about this video : I know, I said it was dead a month ago, because of that darn upate on squigly's lvl3 tracking. But I found the way to make my midscreen master piece work, it gave me the motivation to work out a few things with current Inferno Of Leviathan. Still, a LOT of ideas were lost with that update. No 11 dynamo challenge. No multiple kanchou/devil horns combo without getting immolated by the lvl3. No more run stop making the lvl3 whiff. NO MORE PRACTICAL FULL PERFECT COMBO - good job MikeZ, and I'm pretty sure you didn't even know about that project of mine. If the midscreen master piece you saw is identical in its theory to the pre-update version, it is now waaaaaaay harder. And in the corner, it is actually possible to get a full perfect, with the sMK deflector annihilating all the remaining hits of the lvl3. Except I only got in once, by accident, out of...too many tries... The combo by itself is unreliable enough, I didn't want to go for the retarded-ness of the full perfect. So...yeah, if you're stuck with a pixel of health left against a squigly with 3 bars and more health than a showstopper can do, your only option is mostly back dash, cLP to make lvl3 whiff, and then double deflector to annihilate it...if the opposing squigly gives you the chance, because if she calls it during your knockdown, you're most likely dead! At least the first part of the video shows you what you missed, I'm glad I thought about recording these instead of procrastinating. No squigly lvl3 DHC parasoul lvl3 counter though, unlike what the 8-month-old teaser was hinting. Countering squigly's lvl3 is hard enough in this version, I couldn't afford dealing with frame perfect deflectors on top of that. I didn't even find a full counter to that pre-update, so it's noooot gonna happen now... The thing that makes me the most happy with this video is actually NOT the combos. It's the fact I was able to go for that editing I had in mind for 4 months :p So I really hope you enjoy it, I spent a lot of time on it, and I'm very happy of the result!
