To compensate for these increases, our prices would have to increase by about 10%. But, since we cannot increase our prices right now due to the dismal state of the economy, we will have to lay off sixty of our employees instead. This has really been bothering me since I believe we arc family here and I didn’t know how to choose who would have to go. So, this is what 1 did. I walked through our parking lots and found sixty 'Obama' bumper stickers on our employees’ cars and I have decided these folks will he the ones to let go. Дорогие сотрудники, Как генеральный директор этой организации, я вынужден признать тот факт, что Барак Обама -президент, а налоги и другие отчисления выросли просто ЭПИЧЕСКИ. Для того, чтобы компенсировать это повышение, нам надо бы повысить цены хотя бы на 10%. Но прямо сейчас мы этого сделать не сможем из-за слишком унылой экономической ситуации, поэтому нам придётся уволить 60 сотрудников. Это очень беспокоит меня, поскольку я, правда, считаю всех вас семьёй и понятия не имею, как сделать выбор. Поэтому вот, что я сделал: я прошёлся по нашей парковке, нашёл 60 машин со стикером «За Обаму!» и решил, что именно владельцы этих машин должны нас покинуть. Я просто не знаю более справедливого решения этой проблемы. Они голосовали за перемены... Так я дал им их. С остальными увидимся на ежегодном пикнике.
