Touhou 6 is a pretty funny game,Gaming,,Reimu sees a red mist covering Gensokyo, so she goes to find the cause of it. Or maybe she was just bored. Either way she doesn't like it. I don't play bullet hells and i'm not creative My ramblings: I felt hesitant on making this video in the first place. I wanted to create something about the sixth Touhou game I finished playing, but at the same time I had this feeling of "I hope this doesn't come off as too similar to already existing videos online." I did this completely on a whim and had nothing planned. Making jokes for this game was also difficult for me at the time, I didn't want to just "rip off" other videos made before me, someone who barely even knew what a Touhou was after Touhou 5. Some jokes are inevitably comparable to others, and that made me feel down. I thought, "I can do so much better than this." Despite all of these setbacks in my head however, I continued to make this video. With the knowledge I have now/will have in the future about making videos, storytelling, and art, I would definitely remake this video. While I am not the proudest of how this video turned out, I would not trade making this for anything.
Touhou 7 is a pretty funny game,Gaming,,Snow is covering Gensokyo when it's supposed to be Spring, and what's worse is that the cherry trees aren't blooming. Also, it's just really cold. Reimu doesn't really want to deal with it but sort of has to. Marisa comes along too. I still can't beat these in hard mode. My ramblings: After making Touhou 6 I decided to continue with Touhou 7. As I wasn't very familiar with any Touhou content on YouTube past 6 at the time, I felt a lot more confident to make this. The decision to not have Sakuya show up with Reimu and Marisa was because I felt slightly intimidated to have more than 2 people be the main focus. She's still one of my favorite Touhou characters despite that. This was the first Touhou video that "blew up" for me. I kept thinking, "Where are all of you coming from? This is just some stupid Touhou video." I remember this video slowly getting to 1k views and being both surprised and happy about it, especially when 6 had around 100 views when I uploaded this one. The more views it kept getting the more I felt like I could continue doing this, and so I did, especially at a time where I had to move houses. That caused the ending to feel a little rushed for me, but I completed and uploaded the video the day before I moved, so I guess everything worked out. Except for the part where I probably hurt my hand while making the video lmao.
Touhou 7.5 is a pretty funny game,Gaming,,Suika won't leave the shrine, and Danmaku won't be enough this time My ramblings: This is the first video I started working on as I moved into my new house. I referenced the original sprites from Touhou 7.5 and drew every frame individually. I don't really have a reason for doing so but making them like this made them feel smooth. Suika took up most of the drawing time lol. I'm also doing my best to make my backgrounds look better.
Touhou 8 is a pretty funny game,Gaming,,Apparently, the moon has been replaced with a fake. As the night of the Harvest Moon Festival in Gensokyo arrives, Reimu Hakurei teams up with Yukari Yakumo to bring the real moon back. Reimu is getting really tired of these incidents happening. I need to beat one of these Touhous in Hard Mode eventually. My ramblings: I remember trying to finish this as quick as possible to try and meet my imaginary end of the month deadline. It ended up hurting my hand so much to the point where it hurt using it for much. Now I know the importance of taking my time and to not draw for 6 hours a day. I also never would have imagined the number of views this would ever have gotten; I genuinely mean that. Thank each and every one of you for taking the time to watch my stupid videos
Touhou 9 is a pretty funny game,Gaming,,There seems to be a disturbing amount of flowers blooming. Reimu goes to find the source of this through the Phantasmagoria of Flower View race. Wait, that's not what happened. What also didn't happen was me beating Hard mode.
