Я себе игру по этой франшизе представлял больше в духе Deus Ex или, в конце концов, Экшена от третьего лица с большим количеством РПГ элементов. Плюс графон могли бы сделать больше приближенный к стилю полнометражки (21ый век как бы - могли бы и постараться), а так глянцевый и неинтересный.
Как в случае со Стругацкими, так и тут скажу свое слово - РУКИ ПРОЧЬ!
Но что-нибудь, скажем так, с сюжетом, было бы куда интереснее. GitS, как ни крути - это про работу полиции, расследования там, всё такое.
