His hubris proved costly. Harding left his head unblocked while taunting and allowed Johan Segas to knock him down with a vicious kick. As Segas pounced with more punches, the official called the fight. MMA fighter BRUTALLY knocked out while showboating TAUNTING rarely works as a tactic mid-fight, which is what a British fighter discovered when he was KO’d while attempting to dance. During British Challenge MMA 18 in Colchester on Saturday (February 18) amateur fighter Johan Segas caught his opponent Joe Harding with a brutal knock out head kick. Brit fighter Harding was trying to taunt Segas by having a dance in the middle of the fight – but was quickly sent stiff to the canvas. The Colchester featherweight looked away from his opponent for just a second in a bid to impress his hometown crowd. But it was all the opportunity Segas needed. His thudding high kick landed directly on Harding’s jaw. Segas pounced on his rival and launched into a serious of devastating punches before the official called the fight. The knockout was so brutal Harding had to have extensive medical checks but was eventually able to leave the cage on his own two feet. After the loss, BCMMA tweeted: “Joe Harding just danced his way to a head kick KO loss as Johan Segas connects and is now the interim 145lb champion.” Similarly shocking fight footage recently emerged showing an MMA fighter launching a devastating flurry of knees into his opponent's head.
